Donations

• Copies of identity cards and tax identification numbers of all parties with indication of marital status (and any applicable matrimonial property regime)
• Documentation indicating the origin of the property (notarial deed or inheritance)
• Regarding buildings: Copies of documents from the Housing Department (construction permit, modifications, DIA, SCIA, CILA, safety compliance/occupancy certificate…)

NOTE: If the transaction is to proceed after the acceptance of an inheritance, it is also necessary to present the death certificate of the deceased. Furthermore, when dealing with a inheritance involving a will, a complete, authentic copy of the notarised will must also be presented.
